Desert for Breakfast

Just about everyone’s had pastries or doughnuts for breakfast. I tend to enjoy them myself from time to time. But if you are looking to take it up a notch and satisfy you sweet tooth in the early morn, stop on by the 520 Bar and Grill in old town Bellevue.

Sadly its only available on the weekends and from 11-2. But if you make your way there, I highly recommend the creme brulle french toast. I’m not even sure you need a discription after that, but here it goes anyway.

It all starts with two slices of fresh bread, soaked in a vanilla cream and egg. These get lightly fried and served with butter macadamia nut syrup, bacon and eggs to order. Definately some of the best french toast I think you will have. Very rich, but doesn’t leave you feeling stuffed.

Other good eats can be found here as well such as the Spanish style breakfast burrito ( again only on weekends 11-2) or the Steak Gorgonzolla. Drink selections are plentiful and UW fans will always find a seat for the game.

I promise if you get a chance to swing by, you won’t be dissapointed.
