Steak and Eggs

Ok, so maybe its not your everyday steak and eggs. It’s more like medallions of beef tenderloin and deviled eggs. But one thing is for sure, it will be the best you’ll have on anyone’s happy hour menu. I’m speaking of course of John Howie’s at the Bravern.

If you are ever in the Bellevue area and you’re looking for some steak (even without eggs), this is the place to go. As for me, the beef tenderloin marinated in soy and tangerine pair deliciously with the deviled eggs topped with truffled bacon. If you fancy a beverage to go with, I recommend “My Favorite” martini. It’s actually called that by the way.

UPDATE:For those who are going to John Howie’s to sit in the bar area, I recommend you avoid sitting at the piano. To do so could result in you being squeezed in with 10 of the piano player’s best friends. This is fine if you want to get to know everyone around you very well. Not so good if you came for a nice dinner at one of Bellevue’s “elite” dining venues.
